Civil protection is a civilian umbrella system for command, coordination, protection, rescue and relief aid primarily in the event of desasters and emergencies and secondarily in the event of an armed conflict.

Sport

Sports

The Federal Office for Sport (German abbreviation: BASPO) is the state centre of expertise for sport. It fulfils the tasks arising from the government's promotion of gymnastics and sport, such as training, instruction, research and associated services.

armasuisse

As the procurement and technology centre of the DDPS, the armasuisse Group is responsible for research and development and for the evaluation, procurement, maintenance and disposal of supplies and buildings for the armed forces and other customers.
