National Armaments Director takes part in the defence exhibition “Defence Exhibition Athens DEFEA 2025” in Athens
Bern, 08.05.2025 — National Armaments Director Urs Loher is taking part in the DEFEA 2025 defence exhibition in Athens. Within this framework, bilateral discussions with the National Armament Directors of Greece and Israel as well as exchanges with representatives from industry will take place.
On 8 May, National Armaments Director Urs Loher is visiting the defence exhibition Defence Exhibition Athens DEFEA in Athens. The DEFEA 2025 will bring together government representatives from all over the world as well as international defence companies who will present their defence systems for land, sea, air, space and cybersecurity.
In addition to the visit of selected industry stands, bilateral talks will take place at the DEFEA 2025 at the level of National Armaments Director. Urs Loher will briefly exchange views with his Greek counterpart, General Major Ioannis Bouras. In addition, the National Armaments Director will meet for bilateral working discussions with the Israeli National Armaments Director, Brigadier General Yair Kulas. These working discussions will focus on ongoing procurement projects with Israeli suppliers of armasuisse.
