Florian Schütz to attend WEF Roundtable in Paris
Bern, 17.06.2025 — The Director of the National Cyber Security Centre, Florian Schütz, will attend the international World Economic Forum Roundtable in Paris on 17 and 18 June. Under the slogan ‘Rethinking Cyber Resilience in an Era of Complexity’, international experts from politics, business and administration will discuss key issues, current initiatives and joint approaches to improving global cyber resilience in an increasingly complex digital world.
Florian Schütz, Director of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), will take part in a high-level roundtable on ‘Rethinking Cyber Resilience in an Era of Complexity’ in Paris on 17 and 18 June. The event is being organised by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and brings together international experts from politics, business and administration.
Common approaches to cyber resilience
The discussions will focus on crucial issues for improving cyber resilience in an increasingly complex digital environment. Florian Schütz and other participants will discuss key topics such as the harmonisation of regulatory frameworks, the promotion of specific cooperation mechanisms between states and private actors and the ongoing revision of the EU Cybersecurity Act. The aim is to better harmonise existing initiatives and identify joint approaches to improving global cyber resilience.
Forum for open dialogue and bilateral discussions
The event offers a forum for an open dialogue on future regulatory approaches and cooperation models relating to cyber security. The participation of the NCSC's director underlines Switzerland's commitment to actively shaping the international cybersecurity landscape.
Florian Schütz will also hold various bilateral discussions with representatives from industry and international organisations.
