Cyber Start-up Challenge 2025: The start-up Pometry Ltd from London wins over the DDPS

Bern, 30.10.2025 — The start-up company Pometry Ltd, domiciled in London, has been selected by the Cyber-Defence Campus of armasuisse as the winner of this year’s cyber start-up challenge. With its real-time analysis of dynamic data relationships in sectors such as finance, insurances and social networks, Pometry Ltd won over the specialist jury and defeated strong international competition. The start-up will receive an order worth up to 100,000 CHF to implement a proof of concept for its technology in the environment of the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport DDPS.

The sixth cyber start-up challenge focused on innovative solutions in the area of “graph analytics technologies”. The start-ups presented their developments to a specialist jury, consisting of experts from the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS). This year, Pometry Ltd. won over the jury.

Revolutionising the analysis of dynamic data relationships

Pometry Ltd is a leader in the field of real-time graph analysis and offers a time-based graph platform. Unlike conventional solutions, which require complex data transformations or special memories, Pometry Ltd’s technology enables comprehensive and constantly evolving graph data to be analysed immediately. This approach covers not only static relationships but also the temporal dimension, in other words, how data changes, connects and behaves over time.

The platform is used in sectors such as finance, insurances and social networks, in which the understanding of complex and dynamic relationships is of crucial importance. In addition, Pometry Ltd combines high speed with in-depth analytical capability, which enables users to uncover hidden patterns, identify cases of fraud and develop AI applications of the next generation, to transform constantly changing data into strategic insights.

The Cyber Start-up Challenge

The Cyber-Defence Campus (CYD Campus) of armasuisse Science and Technology (S+T) has been organising the cyber start-up challenge every year since 2019, to promote cooperation between research, industry and the government. The competition offers start-ups a unique opportunity to present their technologies and implement them in the environment of the DDPS as part of a proof of concept.
