Idea competition for recovering ammunition from Swiss lakes: Evaluation is ongoing
Bern, 27.06.2025 — In August 2024, the Federal Office for Defence Procurement armasuisse launched an idea competition for the environmentally-friendly and safe recovery of ammunition from Swiss lakes. The announcement of the results, scheduled for the end of May 2025, has been postponed. Due to the complexity of the ideas, the evaluation is taking more time than planned.
The deadline for submitting contributions to the idea competition expired on 6 February 2025. The assessment by the responsible committee of experts proved to take more time than planned due to the complexity of the ideas and is ongoing. In order to ensure careful and fair assessment, the announcement of the competition results has been postponed.
No further information on the status of the evaluation will be issued until the results are published.
