‘SUPER, right?’ – launch of the 2026 national cybersecurity awareness campaign
Bern, 09.04.2026 — Phishing and scam attempts are widespread, and many are identified early enough for people to take the necessary cybersecurity measures. But it is becoming increasingly difficult to tell fraudulent messages from genuine ones. Scammers are increasingly using AI to personalise their messages, making them appear more convincing than ever. This is precisely what the new cybersecurity awareness campaign highlights under the slogan ‘SUPER, right?’. From 13 April to 10 May, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Swiss Crime Prevention (SCP), the cantonal and city police forces, Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Swiss Post and the Swiss Insurance Association (SIA) are launching another edition of the national S-U-P-E-R.ch campaign to raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity.
Hardly a day goes by without phishing or scam messages landing in our inboxes. Many of these malicious messages can now be easily recognised and deleted. But others are either so tempting that you don't question them, or so well-crafted and convincing that there are hardly any signs of fraud. Messages like these pose significant risks. Being careless or going on autopilot when using digital services can also weaken your cybersecurity. To draw public attention to these challenges, the 2026 national S-U-P-E-R.ch awareness campaign will launch on 13 April under the slogan ‘SUPER, right?’.
‘SUPER, right?’
The slogan is intended as a reminder to always check whether information is plausible, and to follow basic cybersecurity practices. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and to encourage people to engage actively with the risks associated with careless behaviour. To reach as many people as possible, the campaign uses practical, everyday examples. The campaign website S-U-P-E-R.ch features a range of information about cybersecurity for both individuals and businesses. Visitors can also test their knowledge with quizzes at three different difficulty levels.
Seventh edition of the SUPER campaign
This is the seventh edition of the national S-U-P-E-R.ch campaign, developed in collaboration with the agency Partner & Partner. As in the previous year, the NCSC is once again working together with SCP and the cantonal and city police forces, SBB, Swiss Post and the SIA. The first campaign introduced five key cybersecurity measures, with each letter in SUPER representing one step. The campaigns that followed explored these steps in more detail. Last year's campaign, ‘No excuses – Do it!’ focused on putting these measures into practice. The current campaign is about applying what has been learned and continuing to stay alert. The campaign begins on 13 April and runs until 10 May.
