Working visit by the National Armaments Director to the USA
Bern, 07.08.2025 — National Armaments Director Urs Loher travelled to the United States from 5 to 7 August for a working visit. Together with a delegation from the Federal Office for Defence Procurement armasuisse, he met with representatives from Lockheed Martin for technical discussions.
National Armaments Director Urs Loher was on a working visit to the USA this week. He met with representatives from the US manufacturer Lockheed Martin for technical discussions from 5 to 7 August in Fort Worth, Texas.
The talks focused on topics around offset obligations. These were regular consultations as part of the project progress. The aim of the working visit was to develop the ongoing dialogue with the manufacturer and to continue to substantiate cooperation as part of the project.
