RUAG
RUAG MRO Holding Ltd (RUAG MRO) and RUAG International Holding Ltd (RUAG International) are two independently operating groups. RUAG International is mainly active in the aerospace markets, while RUAG MRO provides all security-related services for the DDPS. This primarily involves maintenance, repair and overhaul as well as the upkeep of mission-relevant systems such as the fighter jets.

Federal Council approves 2024-2027 strategic objectives for RUAG International
During its meeting on 29 November 2023, the Federal Council approved the strategic objectives for RUAG International Holding AG for 2024 to 2027. Whereas the previous strategy period centred on the split of the RUAG group, the next few years will focus on the completion of the privatisation and, in particular, the sale of Beyond Gravity (space division) by the end of 2025.
RUAG puts a new site into operation in Payerne
The construction work for the new RUAG Ltd site on the military airfield in Payerne is now complete. At the beginning of April, the newly formed team was able to take possession of the first F/A-18 and begin working on it. Construction began in May 2020 in cooperation with the Swiss Air Force, and all twelve of the newly created posts have been filled.
RUAG Ltd expands its service for the Air Force in Payerne
In collaboration with the Swiss Air Force, RUAG Ltd has begun working on the construction of a new location on Payerne’s military airfield. In doing so, RUAG Ltd creates 12 new jobs in the region.
